ADELAIDE  YARD  and  TORRENS  BRIDGE
3rd March 2013

Nearly a month after the resumption of passenger railcar services to the Adelaide Railway Station, no new work on the electrification of the Adelaide Rail Yard seems to have happened. By the Port Road bridge Thebarton an extra two new tracks have been laid in the centre between the Standard Gauge / Broad Gauge Goal Loop and the earlier new laid two tracks along side the new Royal Adelaide Hospital site. The Convention Centre extension has covered all the Adelaide Railway Station east of the Morphett Street bridge.

Some other photo's taken in-between the Red Hen railcars of the Adelaide Yard, in the photo's here I don't know the exact names of the sections that hold the wires on the Catenary Poles to the left on photo where the Seaford & Belair line runs under south side of yard - then to the north side of yard the Gawler - Outer Harbor line side the catenary poles don't have these to right side of photo.
Also in some photo's in background you can see the cranes that are on the new Royal Adelaide Hospital construction site, plus the Adelaide Convention Centre extension which is built over the top on the ARS platforms is right unto the east side on the Morphett St Bridge.

OVERHEAD  ELECTRIC  WIRES  ADELAIDE  RAILWAY  STATION
22nd December 2013

The Adelaide Yard electrification have progressed with the electric wires attached to the Catenary Pole stanchions now. The wires are more easily seen at ground level than above on the pedestrian footpath of the Morphett St Bridge. The first 4 rail tracks on the southern side of the yard are for the new Seaford line which is nearly fully electrified, which are Platform 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 inside the Adelaide Railway Station.
