Tuesday the 6th of July 2010, and with a pile of concrete sleepers in the foreground the M van (and rake of empty flats) awaits its next call of duty for a load of sleepers to be fetched from Victoria. Much work is taking place in the background on the crossover and switches off the Gawler main into the Dry Creek north yard which allows access for the daily stone train to travel from the Barossa to Osborne.

 11th September 2010

I stopped off at Mawson Lakes today to check the Gawler Line upgrade at the Mawson Lakes Bus/Train Interchange. At the moment train services are only between Gawler Central and Mawson Lakes. The track upgrade hasn't reached Mawson Lakes as yet, but it defiantly is at Dry Creek Station and the Railcar Facility.
At Mawson Lakes Interchange there's a Train Substitute Bus service to take Passengers onto Adelaide as the Trains from Gawler terminate at Mawson Lakes while stage 1 is being done.
